Of Light and Layers Studio is the collaborative practice of Petra Blacklock and me, Claire Hankey. Blending multiple exposure photography, painting, and natural materials, our work explores transience, memory, and the subtle power of nature. Through layered techniques, we create contemplative pieces that blur boundaries between disciplines, inviting viewers into quiet, transformative spaces.

There is a quiet moment, often missed, when light slips through fabric, when shadows stretch softly across a surface, when nature offers it's stillest forms to be seen, not in clarity, but in subtlety. 'Veiled' is a collection created with this fleeting moment in mind.
