​​After nearly two years at Leigh Marina, it is time for a new chapter.

I am returning to my garden studio at home, where so much of my original inspiration was rooted, and continuing my printmaking practice at The Old Waterworks in Southend. The marina was a truly special place to work and the time I spent there is etched into the work itself. That sense of the estuary, the light, the weathered surfaces, the rhythm of the water, it will always be present in what I made there.

As my practice has shifted towards printmaking and new ways of working, the move feels like a natural and exciting next step rather than an ending. Alongside the studio move, I am putting more of my energy into Squeeze Cafe on Leigh Broadway, which is becoming a more permanent and active home for my work. That means a more regular rotation of pieces on the walls, themed exhibitions throughout the year, and a welcoming space where you can come and buy original art in the most relaxed and unpretentious way possible.

If you have ever wanted to collect one of my paintings but haven't yet had the chance, Squeeze Cafe is the place to come. I will be there on the last Friday of every month with a browser full of unframed originals, ready for a conversation.
