Welcome to Squeeze Cafe, one of my favourite places in Leigh-on-Sea and the permanent home of a changing collection of my work.
Set on the bustling Leigh Broadway, Squeeze is a beautiful space with a wonderful history, it was once an art gallery, and that spirit lives on in the walls. Open every day, it offers a relaxed and unhurried setting in which to take in some art alongside a smoothie, coffee, brunch or lunch. The perfect combination.
You will find a rotating selection of my paintings and prints on display downstairs at 96 Leigh Broadway, SS9 1AB, changing regularly so there is always something new to discover.
If you are interested in collecting, I'm there in person on the last Friday of every month 10am -12pm, bringing a browser full of unframed original work. It's a lovely, informal way to view the work up close, ask questions and find something that feels right for your home. No pressure, just paintings and good coffee.

The Story- Studio and Art Gallery in Leigh-on-Sea. Autumn 2026
After nearly two years at Leigh Marina, it's time for a new chapter.
I am returning to my garden studio at home, where so much of my original inspiration was rooted, and continuing my printmaking practice at The Old Waterworks in Southend. The marina was a truly special place to work and the time I spent there is etched into the work itself. That sense of the estuary, the light, the weathered surfaces, the rhythm of the water, it will always be present in what I made there.
As my practice has shifted towards printmaking and new ways of working, the move feels like a natural and exciting next step rather than an ending. Alongside the studio move, I'm putting more of my energy into Squeeze Cafe on Leigh Broadway, and the art fairs I have coming up with The Circus Gallery. What I like about Squeeze is that it's such a welcoming space where you can come and buy original art in the most relaxed and unpretentious way possible.
