Created entirely within my shipping container studio on the edge of a working marina along the Thames Estuary, 'The Marina Series' is a collection of abstract works that respond to the atmosphere, rhythms and quiet poetry of this unique environment.

Infused with a dreamlike quality, the paintings evoke the shifting boundaries between land and water, presence and absence, seen and sensed. Layered marks, soft edges, and tonal depth reflect the influence of tidal movement, changing light and weather-worn textures that surround the studio each day.
